Teaching in the Classroom
2020-21 Virtual Math Lesson- Perimeter (video)
In these pictures the students were finding 3D objects in their house for an evaluation after our lesson. They got to describe which 3D object they were holding up to the camera, and it left room for growth. The students with 2D objects (as you may see) were able to correct themselves once we started to discuss which objects represented a specific 3D object.

During this guided reading lesson the students created Frobscottle from the book "BFG". We tried to make it as similar to what it said in the book as possible, but we could not get the drink to fizz the opposite way.
The students created "I wonder" statements and asked a question about a book we were about to read, after I gave them some background on the story.

During this science lesson the students worked were paired up with a partner to come up with two different ways they can show force and motion. These were three examples of motion.
During their independent reading time we did a book tasting, where the students pick three books to read. They fill out their pamphlet based off of their books; for example, the students would read three pages of the story, write about the story and then move on, and when they are done with all the books they pick one that they want to finish reading.
